Here is Gleenar a sea dragon. His kind was often seen by mariners off the coast of Africa. His black and green scales would glisten in the moonlight as he swam beside ships at night. Old maps often had drawings of such dragons (or sea monsters) swimming in the seas. The sailors spoke of shadows in the water and a smell of wet grass. One story tells of a young ship hand falling overboard and being carried back to the ship close enough for him to grab a rope that was thrown to him. Another story tells of a ship being crushed and all the crew eaten.
